I made few adjustments to the veg biryani I make and came up with this recipe….should say it turned out great and had a thumps up from hubby.   17. Prepare of as required Desi ghee.
  18. You need 2 of Cardamom.
  19. You need 1 of Star anise.
  20. You need 1 stick of Dalchini.
  21. You need 2 of Cloves.
  22. You need 1 tsp of Jeera / cumin.
  23. You need of as per tatse Salt.
  24. It’s of Making Biryani.
  25. You need as needed of Oil.
  26. You need 2 of Green chilli in slits.
  27. Prepare 2 of Green cardamom.
  28. It’s 1 of sick Dalchini.
  29. Prepare 2 of Cloves.
  30. You need 1 of Onion- sliced.
  31. Prepare 1 of Tomato finely chopped.
  32. Prepare of Marination.
  33. You need 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  34. Prepare as needed of Saffron milk.
  35. It’s 1/2 bowl of Fried onion.
  36. You need 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  37. It’s leaves of as required Mint.
  38. Prepare leaves of as required Coriander.
  39. You need of Boondi raita.
  40. You need 1/2 cup of Boondi.
  41. It’s 1 of small bowl whisked Curd.
  42. Prepare of as per tatse Salt.
  43. You need 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.

Mushroom Biryani with Boondi Raita instructions

  1. For marination:firstly add all ing in mixing bowl and mix well.keep this marination for 30 min..
  2. Boil rice by adding all ingredients cook rice only 75 % not full and cool rice..
  3. Next in a pan start making biryani add oil,cardamom,green chilli,onion cook for 5 min till it changes colour next add tomato cook till it becomes soft and mushy next add marination and mix well and cover it with lid for 5-10 min till potato cooks next add rice,fried onion,saffron milk,mint leaves,coriander leaves cover the pan with aluminium foil for dum cover with lid for 10 min on low or medium flame and switch off flame and open pan after 20 min..
  4. Make raita with all ingredients and pour in bowl.sprinkle red chilli powder.
  5. Serve hot.Garnish with coriander leaves..

A mixture of gram flour balls and home made Indian yogurt. Raita along with biryani is a complement, without which biryani can not be enjoyed. The ingredients of Biryani raita can be modified as your desire. Boondi Raita is made by simply adding Boondi to beaten yogurt and then flavouring it with red chilli powder and chaat masala.
